The Final Frontier

Up until the honeymoon, three weeks to be exact, I had been working in Clinton as a medical technician. I knew it wasn't a job I'd have forever, but a decent one until the right one came along. After the honeymoon, I went back to work for 2 days and then resigned. It's just like those crazy women who get married and just stop working. What are they thinking! Lol! I've been at home for the last 2 and half weeks. I'm going a little nuts not having so much to do. The good news is I start working for Quest diagnostics/Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma as a medical technologist sometime next week. I'm so excited about it. I'll be working at a hospital for 4+ days a week with a little over twice the pay I was making at the other place. The folks there are friendly and seem like they enjoy their work. I can't wait to get my feet wet and go swimming!

Late last week I started my final journey through school. I started the application process for graduate school. I'm going for a Masters of Science in management next fall. If I play my cards right and stick to it, I'll be done in one year. After my one year of clinicals, I feel like I can do it easily. Let's hope. Until then I have the fall and summer off and during the spring I have to take 6 hours of prerequisites. I hope I can do it gracefully.
